Our Commack practice is seeking a qualified and motivated Full-Time, professional Dental Assistant who is ready to help change the lives of patients, be a part of a team and grow personally and professionally within our National Dental family! ND is a leader in providing premier preventative dental care, orthodontics, and specialty care. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is outgoing with impressive communication skills, organized, professional, service-minded, and willing to go above and beyond the basic responsibilities of the job. As a Dental Assistant, you will have the opportunity of working side by side with one of our talented general dentists and assist them in procedures from fillings, crown preps, root canals, surgical extractions, and much more. You will be able to gain the skills and knowledge by exposure to prep work, procedures, and post-op care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and prepare patients for dental treatments.
- Prepare materials and equipment for use by the Dentist.
- Maintain records related to appointments, examinations, treatment, and supplies.
- Perform chairside assistance and placement of sealants and varnish.
- Perform radiological procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
