As we continue to grow, we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization, including this opportunity at NDX Davis Dental Lab in Wyoming, MI for a Full-Time Dental Laboratory Technician Trainee-Ortho
The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. These hours will be subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Finishing/polishing of sleep appliances.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Knowledge tooth anatomy
- Ability to articulate according to Rx
- Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
- Identify through Impressions margins
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred: A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
- Acrylic, General Purpose Cleaner, Acrylux, Yellow Hi-Shine Polish
- Lathe, Ultrasonic Cleaner, Steamer
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
- Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
- Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
- Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
