We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Rogers Dental Lab in Athens, TN, for a Dental Laboratory Technician (Wax).
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of The Position
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Check set-ups for correct alignment and function before beginning waxing.
- Wax in anatomical features to achieve proper function and aesthetic appearance.
- Carefully clean on and around teeth to remove excess wax to prevent excess acrylic on surfaces at packing.
- If the case is ready for finish, seal the wax-up to the model to prevent poor fit/appearance when acrylic stage is completed.
- Clean wax from models, articulators, and implant bars before shipping to make the most attractive case presentation possible for the doctor and patient.
- Rewax resets if adjustments are needed after try-in.
- Manage daily job task assignments to keep production running at high levels of efficiency.
- Use past experience and successes to effectively trouble shoot and problem solve.
- Review final work to confirm that quality standards have been met.
- Clean work area daily.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain, and execute on written and verbal instructions.
- High level of organizational skill with the ability to prioritize work.
- Able to perform certain lab tasks as demonstrated during hands-on session.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to sustain production
- Hand piece/small machinery
- Additional related materials or equipment, as required.
- Personal protective equipment, as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach.
- Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions.
- Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color.
