Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Green in Heber Springs, AR, for a Dental Laboratory Technician.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Break processed removable restorations out of flasks and match back to the correct case pan.
- Remove excess acrylic flash using burs and or cutting wheels
- Remove excess acrylic from metal areas of partial dentures and from teeth
- Add final anatomy to present an aesthetic appearance and good function
- Seat back to models to check for correct fit, adjust if necessary. If need to have partial clasps adjusted for correct fit, take to the appropriate person
- Repair any areas of the acrylic that have holes, porosity, or scarring using cold cure acrylic technique
- Final polish using pumice and high shine materials
- Bag dentures and put number of case on the bag before replacing in the correct pan
- Maintain a clean work area
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Detail oriented
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No experience required

- Small machinery
- Hand-pieces
- Chemicals
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
