The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Marketing Intern to support our Marketing Department at National Development, a leading commercial real estate real estate investment and development company based in Newton, MA. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, brand development, and graphic design. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in marketing and a passion for learning in a fast-paced environment. This position supports both National Development and our affiliate construction company, Cranshaw Construction.
We are seeking candidates who can work a minimum of 3 days per week for 8 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Assist in creating and editing marketing materials such as brochures, presentations and event invitations.
- Social Media Management: Help manage and update company and property social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) with engaging content.
- Digital Marketing Support: Assist with website updates and monitoring of online property websites.
- Branding and Graphic Design: Support in activities such as cropping photography as needed.
- Database Management: Update company project database as directed.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings and assisting with communications.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Creative and detail-oriented with the ability to think critically and contribute ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
