Job Overview
The Data Analytics Analyst reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Administration team. He/she will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and supporting NDRI mission critical applications. Responsibilities will also revolve around using statistical techniques to find trends and patterns in large datasets that lead to transformational and actionable insights and drive business growth.
Duties
A. Data Collection, Visualization and Analysis
1. Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
2. Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
3. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
4. Use statistical methods and tools to analyze data and generate insights.
5. Create visualizations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to present data findings.
6. Use tools like Power BI, or Python libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
7. Collaborate with various applications to gather and compile data into a single data repository.
8. Assist NDRI’s Operations team in the creation of SSRS reports and other data needs.
9. Implement data quality measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
10. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
B. Integration of historical and current data
1. Develop tools (UI) to access historical files stored in an archived Foxpro database.
2. Develop and maintain APIs to integrate data from various business applications.
C. Collaboration
1. Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
2. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure is robust.
D. Modeling and Forecasting
1. Build predictive models using machine learning techniques.
2. Conduct time series analysis for forecasting future trends.

1. Ensure data privacy and security compliance.
2. Implement data quality standards and best practices.
F. Technical Skills:
1. Design and develop web and Windows applications in a secure and scalable way using various technologies and languages, such as C#, .NET, JSON, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, Angular.
2. Work with NDRI’s consultants assisting in support, maintenance and enhancement of NDRI’s applications.
3. Participate in the technical planning and requirements.
4. Work within the framework of NDRI’s MSP and application support structure.
5. Analyze and troubleshoot bugs, production issues, and code deployment activities.
6. Be conversant across front and back-end development to make modifications and enhancements across all aspects of NDRI’s applications.
7. Design and build applications using accepted methodologies for architecture, user interface, coding standards, and quality control.
8. Provide continuous assessments of progress and effectively communicate project statuses, issues, and recommend strategies to management and members of the IT team.
9. Integrate NDRI’s applications into 3rd party services and custom internal components as needed (JSON, REST, SOAP).
10. Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
11. Generate ideas for innovative technological solutions to increase the quality of NDRI applications.
12. Deliver high-quality code by creating unit tests and ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.
13. Develop and maintain third party Web Services or APIs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,770.00 - $76,393.00 per year
