Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct audits of financial statements and internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide tax planning and preparation services for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Analyze financial data to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in accounting.
- Assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
