Job Title: Member Services Representative
Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:
Member Service Representatives are to provide exceptional support to our members, dependents, and providers. A Member Service Representative, will act as the main point of contact for all inquiries regarding member’s health benefits (medical, mental health, dental, vision), assist members with verifications of benefits or eligibility, address concerns, resolve issues and educate members on existing and newly adopted Plan benefits. The Member Service Representative is also responsible for referring claims requiring adjustments, review, etc. to appropriate departments through the correspondence module.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Hours: 10:00AM to 6:30PM Monday through Thursday and 11:00AM to 7:30PM Friday,
· High school diploma or GED equivalent,
· Previous computer experience (Microsoft Office Suite or related) required,
· Previous customer services experience preferred,
· Must be reliable and have acceptable and predicable attendance,
· Excellent communication skills including active listening,
· Ability to maintain good customer relations,
· Ability to answer high volume calls (average of 75 calls per day),
· Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances calmly while maintaining a high level of professionalism, attentiveness, and patience,
· Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software,
· Able to effectively function in a fast-paced, high volume telephone call environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
