National Employee Benefits Administrators, Inc. (NEBA) is a full service, licensed Third Party Administrator providing benefit administration services to health, retirement and other benefit plans.
We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to become an integral part of our team!. You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze user requirements and design software solutions to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with department managers and QA teams to ensure software specifications are met and work accordingly.
- Respond to email, phone calls and support requests from employees and customers seeking help with current software and all our internal apps.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance software performance.
- Proactively suggest software upgrades to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and collaborate with other developers to optimize code quality.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of software quality.
- Create flowcharts, diagrams, and user guides for both new and existing software programs.
- Document all programming tasks, procedures, and system configurations.
- Contribute to automating reporting processes based on departmental needs.
- Actively participate in team meetings, providing input and feedback on projects.
- Engage with users to gather insights and improve software functionality and user experience.
- Track, monitor, and escalate support requests to ensure timely resolution.
- Respond promptly to internal software-related support tickets and resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform regular software maintenance and updates to ensure continued system reliability.
