The BLS director would assist NEMSI to ensure a quality education for the students and over-see all instruction provided by the Instructor Coordinators and TAs. This person would provide academic leadership for EMS Training; managing learning, resources, and over-seeing full time, part time and per diem personnel. The position requires you to provide effective management, supervision of the programs, instruction assessment, faculty training and professional development.
Skills required: Certified NREMT Emergency Medical Technician.
3 Years Supervisory Experience
3 Years Teaching Experience
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Be a licensed EMT in MA for 3 or more years
Be a certified MA EMS Instructor Coordinator
Skills preferred: Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision making skills as well as evidence of a strong work ethic.
Must provide direct student instruction in a classroom setting. Assure that all classes meet as scheduled using practical labs, ambulance, and apartment setting during class.
Train all instructors/coordinators on curriculum, observation hours, documentation and instruction.
