We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable File Transmission Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the secure and efficient transmission of electronic files between internal and external stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the secure transmission of electronic files using various file transfer protocols and methods.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of transmitted data by performing regular checks and validations.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to file transmissions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain detailed records of all file transmissions, including logs, reports, and audit trails.
- Work closely with IT, data management, and other departments to ensure seamless file transfers.
- Implement and adhere to security protocols to protect sensitive information during transmission.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in file transmission or a similar role, with a strong understanding of file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, etc.).
- Proficiency in using file transfer software and tools, along with basic scripting knowledge for automation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and the ability to implement secure transmission protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with managed file transfer (MFT) solutions.
- Familiarity with data encryption methods and practices.
- Certification in relevant IT or data management fields.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
