Cash Counter

NEN, owned by Japan-based arcade company GENDA, is the nation’s dominant amusement vending service provider. Over its 30 year history, NEN has defined front-end retail and restaurant entertainment with a diverse portfolio of offerings including skill-crane games, capsule toy/confection stands, video games, and kiddie rides. NEN has over 55,000 machines in over 15,000 locations across the country.

This person will contribute to our success by operating within an office cash support role. This person is responsible for counting incoming monies and providing general office support as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Counts & verifies money received
• Verifies balances on collection bags for accuracy
• Endorses checks and compiles data for bank deposit
• Handles over and shorts appropriately
• Prepares bank deposit slips
• Compiles collection, disbursement, and bank reconciliation reports
• Assistance with month end paperwork
• General office support as needed
• Inventory, receiving, and other warehouse help as needed
• Works weekends as needed
• Other office duties as assigned
• Regular, reliable attendance required

• Strong organizational/communication skills
• Strong general mathematical skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Previous office and/or customer service experience required
• Must be a self-starter and requires minimal supervision
• Computer, ten key, Excel and Word experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Background check and drug test are required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 1-2 years prior cash handling experience
