What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff position at National Event Pros?
National Event Pros is looking for part-time Event Staff for our local events. This job is perfect for those looking for a summer job, second job, weekend job, or just occasional extra work. 2024 event staff averaged 25-45 hours/ week during the summer months.
Our ideal candidates have either open availability or can offer open availability on specific days of the week. Even 1-2 days of availability is helpful.
No experience required! Just bring your positive attitude!
Qualifications:
- Age 18 or older,
- Outgoing Personality,
- Possess the ability to greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner,
- Be energetic, proactive, and work with limited direction,
- Possess the ability to work in all weather conditions and walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for extended periods of time,
- Have reliable transportation to and from work,
- Able to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and staff NEP equipment, such as inflatable rides, mechanical rides, carnival games, and concessions,
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks,
- Provide a safe and friendly environment for all guests.
At NEP we all have job descriptions, but our real job is to make all of our events as safe, simple, and fun as possible for our guests and clients. Sometimes that includes staffing a rock wall or bouncy house. It might be teaching a craft at a company picnic, checking in guests for a convention, directing cars where to park at a drive in-movie, cleaning and sanitizing a popcorn machine, or assisting with loading a truck. Every day is different!
