Job Summary:
We seek an Inventory Specialist to oversee and manage our company's inventory. The ideal candidate will monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, update inventory records, and ensure accurate stock levels.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy
- Update inventory records in the database
- Analyze data to anticipate future inventory needs
- Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure stock levels meet demand
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
Generate reports on inventory turnover, stock levels, and other key metrics
Requirements and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred
- Proven experience working in inventory management or related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
