Service Technician (Service)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain various sub-metering equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic tests on equipment to identify issues.
- Repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely and quality repairs.
- Providing excellent customer service during service calls.
- Documenting all work performed and parts used.
- Following all safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Bonus Points:
- Certification from a technical school or apprenticeship program is a plus.
- Knowledge of Utility Billing Service.
