Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in construction inspection OR AA / HS Degree in Design and construction
Valid State Driver License and experience in vertical / building construction or rehabilitation.
Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties :
Construction project inspection for several vertical construction and rehabilitation projects planned at Mesa Verde National Park in 2025.
Inspects construction projects for adherence with contract documents and industry standards. Completes daily reports and photographs construction progress. 85%
Review submittals, requests for information, and construction documents (drawings, specifications, and reports) for constructability and provide recommendations to Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR). 15%

Health and Safety Considerations : Typical health and safety considerations associated with construction work sites are expected and lead-based paint has been identified in both buildings / work sites. Additional on-site training, if necessary, associated with the removal of lead-based paint will be provided contingent on the construction contractors? demolition plans.
Required Safety Gear : Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while inspecting the construction sites including eye protection, hearing protection, hard hat, gloves, and a safety vest. The Enrollee is responsible for providing their own appropriate clothing, outerwear, and footwear.
Physical requirements : Ability to work at elevation (7,000 ft) and navigate construction sites.
