The first National Fitness Campaign in the 1980s reached over 4,000 communities. The new Campaign is now exploding across the country with our powerful wellness initiative, tested and developed over four years in San Francisco and at Stanford University. We are planning our 500th healthy community now, and are on a mission to build 5,000 free outdoor Fitness Courts across America by 2030.
About the position:
In this role, you will succeed as a consultant who builds consensus and funding for the NFC program, by guiding local champions in schools through our proven partnership development process. The NFC program and services are built on and around our Fitness Court®, the World's Best Outdoor Gym, supported by the unique and exciting toolkit that is our National Fitness Campaign. As a Partnership Development Manager, you will learn and master the NFC partnership development process, consulting with high level leadership in municipalities and school systems across America to guide them through joining our campaign and winning funding approvals within their system.
Your work will include engagement with some of the most innovative cities and schools in America. Successful candidates will have a background working with municipalities, higher education, school districts and high schools, and/or large organizations and enterprise level solutions and services, identifying champions, building consensus, and engaging stakeholders to build funding and support for leading initiatives. NFC operates remotely and candidates can be based anywhere in the continental United States.
You Will:
- Work with great people!
- Learn and master the NFC partnership development process
- Own and optimize a high-volume calendar of development conversations and pipeline of candidates
- Maintain responsibility for developing new partners and confirming their participation in our campaign
- Build, manage, and grow key segments of our Campaign
- Lead initiatives to design, fund, and launch NFC in cities in your region
- Collaborate closely with the Director and members of the NFC team
- Be part of an agile, innovative, growing team doing important and exciting work!
You Have:
- A passion for healthy living
- 7 years of successful consultative sales experience
- History of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience in consultative sales building successful partnerships
- Experience in selling to, or working with or in, major corporations, municipalities, or the education sector
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, and Zoom
- Experience building champions, consensus and funding in government and industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to thrive in a competitive, results-oriented environment
- Interest to contribute to a mission that you can be proud of
- Ability to learn quickly
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field
Salary : $144,000
