The Director of Learning and Development will be a strategic leader responsible for training and development initiatives for NFP Planet Fitness Club team members and support team members. This role is responsible for creating a culture of continuous learning, ensuring that team members acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles, drive member satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of NFP Planet Fitness Clubs.
Essential Job Functions
- Execute a robust and simplified learning strategy aligned with the company’s culture, business goals, and objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to assess learning needs and identify skill gaps, ensuring content is relevant and targeted.
- Create, and update training materials for a wide range of projects, including Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals, training documents, and e-learning courses.
- Create engaging content such as templates, graphics, audio/visual materials, and interactive resources for how-to guides, instruction manuals, webinars, PowerPoint presentations, and participant guides.
- Lead NFP Planet Fitness Certified Training Manager program.
- Collaborate with Operations and Human Resources to enhance and streamline the onboarding experience for new team members.
- Leverage technology and e-learning platforms to deliver efficient and engaging training content.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, making improvements based on feedback and business needs.
