JOB DUTIES:
- Receive direction and customer schedule from Manager.
- Perform instructed and scheduled repair, maintenance, and services as needed on various vehicles and equipment as instructed by the Manager.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner on job status and schedule status.
- Communicate regularly with Manager on job status and schedule status.
- Maintain service truck in a professional manner.
- Stock and maintain service truck inventory, tool collection, and all necessary paperwork daily.
- Adhere to all traffic laws.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with diesel truck and trailer repair, maintenance, and diagnostics.
- DOT Inspection Certified and Air Brake Certified (additional schooling and certifications preferred)
- Must be able to provide sufficient tool inventory to perform job duties
- Must have a clean DMV report: No moving violations
- Valid State Driver's License
- Experience interacting directly with customers with high levels of customer service and communication skills
- High attendance and punctuality requirement
- Flexible working on all Makes, Models, and types of repairs
- Must have neat, legible handwriting
- standing, bending, lifting (50 lbs.), and sitting for long periods of time in varied temperatures and weather conditions
- Must be flexible with your duties, which will include repairs, oil changes, parts runs, shop/truck clean up
