Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a level two background screening
- Must have a valid driver’s license or state issued ID card
- Computer science/IT background is preferred
- Health Information and Portability Act (HIPAA) certified (provided)
- Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Identifying, and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect certified (provided)
Job Description: The Hangar Bay Handler is responsible for loading the simulators onto the multiplayer sessions, making sure the communications are activated, and setting up the monitors and MFCD. They are also responsible for assisting the Flight Leads with assisting their students in flying the simulators. They will also handle first-line maintenance such as calibrating touchscreens and replacing broken headsets. Any issues outside of their expertise will be reported to the Hanger Bay Tech.
Work Environment: The work location is the National Flight Academy facility on Pensacola Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL. The employee will be required to work primarily indoors in dimly lit, air-conditioned settings in an educational gaming/ classroom environment. Work will include long periods of computer screen monitoring and use of technology resources.
