As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Utilize effective upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of current stock levels and product offerings to provide accurate information to customers.
- Process transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the store is well-stocked and organized at all times.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail transactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
