What you'll do:
The Cloud Financial Operations Specialist tracks spending across cloud services to ensure transparency and cost accountability. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing reports and forecasting models for cloud usage and expenses.
- Analyzing cloud cost data to identify trends and propose optimization strategies to eliminate unused resources.
- Partnering with stakeholders to confirm proper budgeting and financial reporting practices for cloud usage and expenses.
- Leading monthly meetings to inform stakeholders of trends in cloud spending.
- Organizing and tagging spending to properly attribute and track costs.
- Aligning cloud spending with organizational goals and business objectives.
- Assisting with vendor negotiations and licensing.

- Two years of experience with FinOps principles, cloud management, financial reporting, forecasting and/or cost allocation

- Experience with cost monitoring tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Salary Range: $88,400-$147,400.00
