Position Description:
This position will lead the program to analyze data received from the company’s operating facilities in support of the company’s field operations and asset management teams. The position will also be responsible for the data science team’s automated data processing system. Open to remote candidates within the US.
Duties:
- Lead small team of data analysts
- Review quality and accuracy of data received from operating facilities
- Identify sources of lost production and potential methods of improvement
- Work with the construction team to support the handover of projects to field operations
- Manage and extend the company’s analytics tools to support portfolio growth
- Calculate and report on internal and external KPI’s
- Develop, manage and own lost energy tracking models
- Estimate future production based on operating history
- Diagnose technical issues and work with engineering team and equipment providers to resolve
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, standards, and methods.
Qualifications:
- 10 years’ experience in renewable energy
- Proficiency with industry-standard resource and energy production modeling programs (e.g. PVSyst, openWind)
- Proficient in Python and SQL; experience with AVEVA PI System desired
- Working knowledge of wind turbines and the various components of solar energy facilities
- BS in meteorology, engineering or other scientific field; MS preferred
- Leadership experience desired

Pay Range for the posted level: $130,000.00 – 180,000.00
