Role: General Clerk
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Department: Gas Connections DNY
Pay rate: $20.81
Key Accountabilities
- Willing to Cross Train in multiple processes within Work Support
- Copy, scan, fax and file various record types
- Create work orders in the work management system (WMS)
- Assist in the creation of the work order packages.
- Casbuilt completed work orders in the Work Management system (Maximo, etc.).
- Order office supplies.
- Handle internal and external customer calls.
- Process check requests.
- Process various invoices.
- Perform other assigned duties in support of Operations.
- Create / Record incoming and completed work on Microsoft Word, and Excel spreadsheet.
- Time Entry- including proficient understanding of the various labor contracts and their application to payroll such as shift pay, Sunday premium., etc.
- Correction of payroll errors.
- Data entry into various DB's (nycstreets, SAP, CRS, DIS, etc.)
- Permit applications.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (ex: Pivot Tables)
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Must have interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers as well as inbound telephone experience
- Must have excellent clerical and administrative skills
- Must have ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work early morning hours if required
