National Grid is hiring a Portfolio Manager. This position offers remote flexibility, with the requirement that candidates reside in one of the following states : New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Massachusetts (MA), Connecticut (CT), Vermont (VT), Rhode Island (RI), Maine (ME), or New Hampshire (NH).
Job Purpose
National Grid is seeking a Portfolio Manager to support the Customer IT organization and deliver on our Customer business strategy. This strategy is focused on three key areas :
- improving customer experience
- reducing the cost to serve our customers
- enabling our customers to adopt clean energy solutions
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for IT Customer portfolio finances and delivery reporting, working with business partners to manage demand intake, prioritization, financials and performance reporting. Additionally, this is a key role in Application Lifecycle management, regulatory submissions and tracking, and transformation efforts related to lean portfolio management and digitizing reporting.

New England : $142k - $167k a year
Downstate NY : $152k - $179k a year
Upstate NY : $127k - $149k a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
