National Grid is hiring a Senior Project Controls Analyst for our Project Controls department in Waltham, MA.
This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations
Job Purpose
The New England Gas Complex Capital Construction Project Controls team is accountable for the development, management, update, and analysis of project costs for a $150M - $200M annual portfolio of complex gas projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Collect and analyze project financial forecast data to identify trends and variances to pinpoint any projects that may need further management intervention or support.
- Maintain regular communication with Project Managers to compile, review and submit monthly project forecasts with established group reporting timeline.
- Serve as a point of contact for matters related to cost control and project finances.
- Maintain project control databases, tracking systems, and PowerBI dashboards.
- Summarize project performance metrics and provide specialized direction and recommendations to the project teams and management for the resolution of diverse project controls issues.
- Attend and / or facilitate monthly project controls meetings with Project Management team and other key stakeholders.
- Earned Value Management by working with the Project Manager to :
Develop the budget / planned value of work based on the scope of work

Salary commensurate with location and experience
