National Grid is hiring a Targeted Electrification Program Manager in Brooklyn, NY
This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to our locations
Job Purpose
National Grid has high ambitions to scale the success of targeted electrification projects (aka "non-pipeline alternatives" or "NPAs") in order to accelerate the clean energy transition and help achieve New York state's climate goals. The Targeted Electrification Program Manager will oversee National Grid's portfolio of potential NPAs in downstate New York and serve as a key coordinator between various internal and external stakeholder groups.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee third-party NPA implementation contractor and / or its subcontractors conducting a variety of work in National Grid's downstate NY territories (in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and Long Island), including customer engagement, community engagement, home / building energy assessments, and installation of energy efficiency measures and full electrification of homes and businesses
- Serve as the key point of collaboration between third-party contractor / subcontractors and internal National Grid staff, including Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Energy Efficiency, Gas Planning and Engineering, Gas Connections, and others
- Lead effective NPA portfolio management, with a keen eye toward prioritization and resource management
- Drive innovation to enable more rapid scaling of NPAs, including development of novel ways of engaging communities and customers, more efficient internal processes and tracking, etc.
- Document program results and achievements, track goals and KPIs
- Prepare data for internal and external reporting, including spend and financial data
- Prepare presentations to leadership, stakeholders, and regulators
- Contribute to required quarterly and annual program regulatory filings
- Some travel in downstate New York required

Salary commensurate with location and experience
