Role Details
This operational assistant position plays a vital role in the Service Department, assisting the service manager in various tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Addressing customer inquiries regarding the Service Department
- Managing work orders initiated by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and tracking their progress until completion and invoicing
- Keeping the service library updated with current information under the supervision of the Service Manager
- Organizing and maintaining Service Department files and records
- Upgrading customer profiles using data from customer work orders
- Managing inventory levels of accessories and supplies and requesting replacements when necessary
- Preparation of Service Technician efficiency reports
- Warranty and product improvement claims processing, calculation of charges, document submission, and follow-up
Requirements

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in standard desktop software, including Microsoft Office and internet tools
- Understanding of office procedures
