- Participate in required meetings.
- Promote unity and positive morale.
- Assure cleanliness of working areas.
- Complete quality documentation using readable penmanship.
- Lift 30 pounds minimum on a regular basis.
- Understand and obey all safety requirements.
- Clock in and out of timekeeping system correctly.
- Interact with all levels of staff effectively.
- Keep work area clean and free of debris.
- Working knowledge of company's Employee Handbook.
- Understand and communicate in English.
- Proficient in written, oral and interpersonal communication.
- Work in teams and independently.
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ensure conformance to written policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Oversee production process and create a production schedule.
- Ensure products are produced on time and of good quality.
- Estimate costs and set quality standards.
- Create staffing schedule for optimal production.
- Liaise among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers.
- Implement company's policies and goals.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
- Review worker performance.
- Identify personnel and training needs.
- Program computer/machines according to work instruction.
- Maintain equipment to ensure effective and accurate operation.
- Support individual job satisfaction and morale.
- High School Degree or GED equivalent.
- 5 years' experience in related industry.
- Complete all training courses within 90 days after hire.
- Additional training identified on Individual Development Plan.
- On-the-job training provided.
- Mastery of basic math.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Working knowledge of scrap and rework requirements.
- Ability to use measuring tools.
