What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operator III position at National Guard Employment Network?
Job Title: WAREHOUSE OPERATOR (3rd SHIFT)
This is an hourly position available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.
Potential Tasks:
- Assist with the bagging line
- Record product codes and lot numbers
- Operate forklift, drive trucks and other equipment on property
- Stack bags efficiently and safely
- Pick orders, load and unload product
- Assess inventory to ensure proper delivery to customers
- Load bulk feed on trailers
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and understand/follow company safety procedures
- Exhibit consistent, prompt attendance
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation
- Have experience driving a forklift
- Possess strong math aptitude and be familiar with basic computer skills
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times
Schedule:
This position works nights, Sunday night through Friday morning, (and possibly occasional weekends) if needed.
Equipment Requirement:
Candidate will provide their own steel-toed safety boots. All other PPE will be provided by the plant.
Pay:
$18.00/hr
