What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Health Corps Member - AmeriCorps Member position at National Health Corps - Central California?
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Interact with patients and the community about clinic services and programs (i.e., health coverage enrollment, appointment scheduling, patient surveys)
2. Support and assist clinical support staff on health programs/services such as vaccination, health screenings preparation, diabetes, etc.
3. Work collaboratively with outreach, nursing, quality, IT, and operations teams to support outreach and improve patient health outcomes
4. May work with our quality team to research, collect, and analyze patient health data to better address access and better health outcomes.
5. The position will include scribing and shadowing opportunities.
Knowledge Required for the Position
Knowledge of AmeriCorps/National Health Corps member requirements
Skill with Microsoft Office (basic).
