Resident Assistant, part-time evenings
White Oak Manor Waxhaw has a job service opportunity for individuals that are interested in assisting and supporting the nursing and ancillary staff to enhance the delivery of care and services. Ideal for students, new or experienced caregivers, retirees, previous volunteers, those reentering the workforce, those that would like to give back to a wonderful generation of people.
The primary day-to-day assignment for a Resident Assistant may include delivery of ice water to residents' rooms, assisting in meal delivery, assistance in feeding residents, monitoring residents' rooms for safety including, to ensure residents' rooms are neat and orderly, making unoccupied beds, assisting in grooming, and to provide encouragement to residents' during programs, resident activities and assist with other departmental services for our residents.
A Resident Assistant must posses an out-going personality, willingness to accept flexible work schedule, self-motivated with the ability to work independently. This person will not perform any duties that require a nursing assistant certification.
Schedule will include Evening Hours between 3pm to 8pm
Education: A minimum of grammar school education is essential and high school or equivalent is preferred.
