WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

SUMMARY
The leader of our Workplace Technology team is responsible for all NHL endpoint management solutions covering Windows, macOS, and iOS device types. This role is accountable for the providing secure, reliable, and user-friendly experiences to all end-users of league-issued devices. In this role you will have access to some of the best-in-class tools, leveraging solutions like Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and other modern endpoint solutions. 
 
Our ideal candidate has a strong technical background in endpoint management, automation, vulnerability management, and service delivery, along with leadership experience in managing engineering teams and reporting for key delivery metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Accountable for the configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of all Windows, macOS, and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and other MDM platforms
  • Optimize ITIL processes, focusing on incident, change, and service request fulfillment, utilizing ServiceNow to streamline endpoint related workflows
  • Work closely with other IT teams to improve incident response times and ensure high levels of user satisfaction
  • Lead and mentor an Endpoint Engineering team, ensuring high performance and professional growth
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort in device provisioning, software deployments, and policy enforcement
  • Manage patching, updates, and OS migrations to maintain security and compliance across all enterprise endpoints, aligning with organizational compliance frameworks, league schedules, and vendor compatibility requirements
  • Prepare regular reports on endpoint security posture, and operational efficiency to ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies, industry best practices, and overall user experience
  • Ensure data accuracy and population for endpoint CI Classes from MDM systems and other relevant discovery sources in ServiceNow CMDB
  • Work with Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure teams to build and enforce device compliance profiles, including things like disk encryption standards, EDR baselines, endpoint PKI enrollment, and other integrity indicators
  • Work to drive Zero Trust security initiatives, including device compliance, identity-based access control, and things like Mobile Application Management

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
  • 5 years of experience in endpoint management, including Windows and macOS platforms in an enterprise setting
  • 3 years managing an endpoint engineering or related operational IT team
  • Expertise with Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, and Windows Autopilot
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise security best practices, including device compliance policies, encryption (BitLocker/FileVault), and EDR solutions
  • Strong familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Group Policy
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, Zero Trust concepts, security frameworks and how they impact endpoint management
  • Ability to deep dive into user experience issues (i.e. login times, app slowness, boot performance) to debug complex problems if needed
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting for automation
  • Experience integrating and operating endpoint management solutions with SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Devo, Cortex, etc). 
  • Expertise in managing endpoint policies through Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines, establishing toolchain integrations with Intune, Jamf, SCCM, etc. 
  • Hands-on experience with API based endpoint management, automating policy enforcement and reporting actions through scripting
 
 Education/Certifications
  • ITIL v4 Certification or strong working knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks

SALARY RANGE:
 $110-130K
 
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
