Position Responsibilities:
- Promptly prioritize and execute necessary equipment repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance and replacements on a diverse range of restaurant equipment, including Fryers, Grills, Walk-in-Freezers/Coolers, Ice Machines, and Ovens, as well as electrical, heating, HVAC/Refrigeration, plumbing, and painting systems.
- Respond swiftly to emergency service calls for repairs.
- Collaborate on the implementation of preventive maintenance protocols as guided by company guidelines.
- Develop effective work schedules to minimize disruptions to customer service and restaurant operations.
- Skillfully diagnose standard malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
- Estimate repair time and associated costs accurately.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in restaurant equipment repairs.
- Proficiency in performing technical tasks related to restaurant equipment, electrical systems, HVAC/Refrigeration, heating systems, plumbing, and painting.
- Independent and proactive work style, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative.
- Ability to diagnose and address common malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
- Competence in conducting minor and major technical repairs within established timeframes.
- Skilled in interpreting manuals, schematics, plans, and specifications related to duties.
- Familiarity with using tools such as multi-meters and manometers.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the service industry, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, Refrigeration, HVAC, or completion of an accredited Technical/Vocational School program.
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Relevant technical training, licenses, and certifications (e.g., EPA, CFESA).
- Capability to handle high-stress situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
