Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic cooks, prep cooks and kitchen stewards to join our culinary team for part-time and full-time hours, morning, day and night shifts available..
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and standards.
- Help cooks with various tasks including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in banquet preparations as needed for special events or large parties.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all food items are prepared to the highest quality.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities within the kitchen.
