Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor/Front Desk Attendant to join our team at the National Hotel Jackson, Tapestry by Hilton, a one of a kind historic destination. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality services. As a night auditor, you'll handle end-of-day accounting tasks, manage the front desk during overnight hours, and provide guest service, ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth hotel operations.
Financial Duties:
- Payment Processing: Process payments, reconcile cash drawers, and handle credit card transactions.
- Auditing: Audit daily transactions, reconcile guest folios, and process payments, ensuring revenue accuracy across departments.
Front Desk Duties:
- Guest Check-in/Check-out: Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, providing efficient and friendly service.
- Guest Assistance: Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
- Reservations: Take reservations, schedule wake-up calls, and handle other front desk requests.
Other Responsibilities:
- Communication: Communicate with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure smooth operations.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the night shift.
- Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Report Generation: Prepare end-of-day reports before the shift ends.
- Breakfast Preperation: Assist the Kitchen crew in setting up the breakfast area, make coffee, check condiments, etc.
