This position will be with Berkshire Hathaway Homestates Comapany in Omaha NE, and can work hybrid up to 50% of their time. This position is NOT ELIGIBLE for employer visa sponsorship.
What are we looking for?
Sophomore or Junior class standing, Undergraduate Degree seeking student.
Basic understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating data in relational databases.
Some familiarity with data warehousing concepts and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
Understanding of how to build data pipelines to move and process data efficiently.
Ability to analyze data issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
Clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Course work/experience in at least one major programming language like Python, Java, or Scala.(preferred)
Some familiarity in design of data models for effective data storage and retrieval.(preferred)
