Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Material Testing Laboratory Technician located in NIAR MRO, Wichita, KS. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting quality control tests, performing analytical tasks, and assisting with various laboratory functions. Daily tasks include sample preparation, data collection, material testing, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Skills.
- Experience in Quality Control and maintaining high standards.
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data accurately.
- Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in material science, engineering or related field is a plus.
- This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Person”.
