Position Overview
The Associate Project Director is responsible for the supervision of the project team and day-to-day oversight and management of activities and deliverables within assigned project(s) that are complex in size and scope. This position may independently lead smaller, less complex projects or may work collaboratively with a more senior leader depending on the scope and complexity of the work.
Position Responsibilities
- Project Direction
Directs all aspects of project scope, workplan, and deliverable of a project complex in size and scope in collaboration with senior project leadership.
Oversees project team and ensures roles and responsibilities on project are clearly delineated and managed.
Provides oversight for project budget and contracts. The APD is responsible for tracking questions, concerns and issues and devising solutions before coming to senior project staff and / or Programs leadership with updates and assistance requests.
Manages additional internal special projects, as requested.
