Position Overview
NICHQ is currently recruiting an energetic, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to collaborate with multiple team members to support the activities and deliverables of a project.
Summary
Career Level : Entry Level
Status : Full-Time, Non-exempt Employee, US Based Remote
Education : Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field and 1-2 years administrative or project management experience preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be substituted for education.
Position Responsibilities May Include
- Coordinating project activities including heavy administrative details : note taking, calendar scheduling, follow up, reminders, etc.
- Preparing agendas for and facilitating meetings, as requested, documenting key decisions and supporting follow-up
- Assisting in the development and management of project plans (e.g., schedule, deliverables, project status reports) and tracking deliverables
- Managing coordination of in-person and virtual events, including logistics, preparation of and mailing materials, set-up, technical needs, and day-of coordination
- Supporting development of key project documents, including reports (e.g. project reports, funder reports, board reports) and presentations
- Contributing to project planning and decision making
- Supporting technical assistance (TA) process including, monitoring TA submissions, scheduling TA consultations, follow-up and data entry, etc.
- Serving as liaison with project partners and other key individuals / groups, as requested
- Managing and maintaining online communication and data platform (Coral)
- Supporting the project team and collaborating with Communications department on project promotion and communication
- May provide day to day management of specific deliverables and activities including those of external customers, vendors and / or internal support departments that are contributing to the project
- Providing thorough and timely customer service and maintaining the project general email inbox
- Other tasks as assigned
