Position Purpose:

The LMS Administrator will support National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) Learning & Development (L&D) training initiatives with direct oversight and administration of the National Insurance Crime Training Academy (NICTA) Learning Management System (LMS) and facilitation of training initiatives which support members and professional development. This position combines LMS technical expertise with a passion for learning, ensuring seamless delivery of learning programs in a robust training environment.

Work Arrangement and Description:

This is a remote position which means NICB grants the privilege and flexibility to work from a location within the boundaries of the United States or its Territories.

Competencies/Duties:

LMS Administration & Technical Proficiency:

• Responsible for the effective management, maintenance, organization, and optimization of the LMS platform which includes but is not limited to module uploads, system configuration, troubleshooting, user access management, content updates, and report generation.
• Create and manage learning paths, specializations, and single purchase virtual learning opportunities.
• Manage the LMS-ticketing system and related support requests (Help Desk, email), providing timely resolutions.
• Develop and deliver LMS training programs for NICB staff, training teams, and external customers ensuring content quality and accessibility.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and best practices for leveraging the LMS and other learning technologies.
• Manage relationships with LMS vendors and resolve any issues.
• Manage LMS business processes, including user agreements, contracts, budget and invoicing.
• Responsible for communication efforts related to LMS updates and enhancements.
• Contribute to the development of in person and virtual training, ensuring it aligns with member company, NICB, and/or stakeholder training needs, as well as NICB’s initiatives and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate on the design and development of learning materials.
• Facilitate instructor-led training sessions (ILT) and virtual training sessions (VILT).
• Adapt training delivery based on learner needs and feedback.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement or enhancement.

Position Requirements/Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to communicate technical and non-technical details.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport. Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including member companies, law enforcement, and key stakeholders.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to identify and address training challenges.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Education, Work Experience, Licensure:

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree required
• 3 years Learning Management System experience required
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate Storyline 360 for eLearning development.
• Strong understanding of LMS technology, software, and integrations.

Salary Range and Statement:

The salary range for this position is $55,794 to $75,980. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors including the specific requirements for this position, the candidate's geographic location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
