What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at National Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry (NKBC)?
This position is primarily responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services by performing the following duties.
Sales
o Generate new business for the organization's products/services by making telephone calls, marketing emails and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
o Research sources for developing prospective clients and for information to determine their potential.
o Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
o Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
Secondary Role and Responsibilities
Development
o Attend all sales training
o Plan and organize personal sales strategy
o Report directly to the Sales Manager with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
o Other duties as assigned

o All employees are responsible for observing safety and security procedures as applicable and reporting potentially unsafe conditions to management
o High school diploma or equivalent required
o Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
o Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
o Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and QuickBooks
o A minimum of one year of experience in the kitchen and bath cabinet industry preferred
o Experience or background in interior design, marketing, or sales is a plus
