What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at National Law Firm?
National Law Firm seeks associate with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join its Boulder, Colorado office. Colorado admission is required for diverse practice including securities litigation and regulation, commercial litigation, directors and officers defense, and professional liability defense work. Exceptional writing and analytical skills are a must. Securities experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to practice in Colorado
- 2-5 years of litigation experience
- Experience drafting summary judgment motions and other dispositive motions a plus
- Mediation and trial preparation experience a plus
- Knowledge of federal and state rules of civil procedures
Responsibilities:
- Efficient management of multiple cases
- Timely preparation of pleadings, motions and discovery to opposing parties
- Participate in mediations, hearings and depositions as required
- Client interaction and problem resolution as it relates to cases
- Integration of best practices and standards in handling clients and their cases
- Evaluation of findings and development of strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases
- On-time completion of reports/projects, in adherence to partner and client needs/guidelines
- Accurate and timely recording of billable hours, in adherence to client guidelines and Firm policy
Salary : $87,500 - $122,500
