The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the corporate office and managing the overall client experience with a hands-on approach to include supervising the work of the client experience team, including processing daily client claim requests. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the process for new client onboarding, as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day operations, including processing claim requests, settlement payments and subrogation requests for 3rd party claim payments received.
- Supervise and manage the claims processing team and their work production and conduct additional client training as needed.
- Ensure all claims processed as total losses during the month are reported to National Motor Vehicle Title Information System.
- Consistently foster and maintain healthy relationships with clients to ensure that our service levels meet their needs and support an exceptional client experience.
- Manage the receipt and processing of client business reporting files twice a month, including troubleshooting and resolving processing errors.
- Review and approve notification letters for new Collateral Protection Insurance placements prior to releasing for printing and mailing to customers.
- Prepare and execute client program agreements and policies, including client policy renewals, endorsements and cancellations.
- Prepare and send monthly premium statements to clients for payment and assist with collection calls when needed.
- Assist with managing the reconciliation of monthly invoices paid by National Lenders General Agency and preparing invoices to 3rd party vendors.
- Assist with new client onboarding by preparing packages, programming policies in OSC software, coordinating with third-party vendors for complex setups, and providing training on claims filing and reporting.
Qualifications
- Insurance carrier or agency operations and or claims experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing others in a fast-paced business operations environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft software including Excel and Word.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Strong organization and communications skills
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks, work efficiently with minimal supervision and a be strong team player.
