Naya Law Group, PC is looking to hire a Case Manager-Paralegal with extensive business immigration experience. This individual will work as part of a team, under the direction of the Managing Attorney and Senior Attorney, representing employers in sponsoring foreign workers and individuals for immigration benefits. Qualifications
Our Case Manager-Paralegal will be responsible for drafting government forms, writing detailed persuasive letters, maintaining files, reviewing documents, identifying issues, and communicating with clients. Other duties include:
Compensation
Many factors are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, work location, work arrangement, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Immigrant Visa Application/Petition preparation experience such as PERM, I-140, and AOS of at least four years
- Nonimmigrant Visa Application/Petition preparation experience such as H-1B, TN, L, and E-3 visas is plus
- Be able to handle a mid-level volume of immigration cases
- LawLogix (EDGE) or similar software experience is welcome but not required
- Attentive to detail and can work independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player passionate about immigration
Our Case Manager-Paralegal will be responsible for drafting government forms, writing detailed persuasive letters, maintaining files, reviewing documents, identifying issues, and communicating with clients. Other duties include:
- Perform intake of cases once assigned and work with external parties to collect necessary information
- Draft forms, letters, and compile petitions/applications for attorney review
- Draft legal documents such as RFEs
- Communicate with clients regarding the progress of their cases professionally
- Build knowledge of the firm and client processes
- Stay active in immigration database recording, record keeping and document preparation
- Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress/status/issues
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team
