LHH is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support a corporate department within a reputable firm. Key Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents, including creating reports, memoranda, and correspondence
- Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information to support corporate transactions.
- Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Prepare for client meetings by drafting minutes and resolutions, and assisting with other preparatory tasks.
- Monitor deadlines and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support corporate governance matters, including the maintenance of corporate records, entity formation and dissolution, and business licensing.
- Assist commercial real estate attorneys with document preparation and filing as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- 5 years of experience as a corporate legal assistant or paralegal.
- Strong understanding of corporate law and legal terminology.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in a large firm and seek a change of pace in a growing, dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaboration.
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Compensation: $60,000-$85,000 annually
- Firm provides 100% paid-for medical and dental insurance, optional vision insurance, and 401k match.
Salary : $60,000 - $85,000
