- Assist attorneys with preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents related to family law cases, such as divorce, child custody, support agreements, and prenuptial agreements.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is current and accurate.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information to support attorneys.
- Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other parties involved in cases.
- Schedule hearings, mediations, and client meetings, and manage attorneys’ calendars.
- Ensure compliance with all court rules and filing deadlines.
- Applicable degree in a related field (Paralegal certification preferred).
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures, court filings, and local regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
