Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents including routine subpoenas, authorizations, medical record requests, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in accordance with local jurisdictions and legal procedures
• Summarize medical and billing records collected
• E-File in state and federal courts
• eDiscovery/document review
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, which may include trial attendance
• Maintain daily record of billable hours within firm billing system pursuant to firm policy
• Oversee tasks assigned to administrative assistant by the paralegal
  
  

Qualifications

• Litigation: 2 years (Required)
• Paralegal Certificate (Required)
• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
• Associates Degree (Preferred)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
