Our firm specializes in handling complex cases across multiple states that require expertise in various challenging issues. We are in search of a Paralegal who can confidently manage and lead the ongoing discovery process against large international defendants, as well as provide support throughout trials across the United States. Role Description

Our firm specializes in handling complex cases across multiple states that require expertise in various challenging issues. We are in search of a Paralegal who can confidently manage and lead the ongoing discovery process against large international defendants, as well as provide support throughout trials across the United States. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously with the following skills:
- Research, analyze, and compile information and documents to assist in advising in litigation matters and as part of the discovery process
- Manage case file calendars to ensure trial readiness and compliance with legal deadlines and court orders
- Conduct interviews with clients, and work with them to draft and respond to discovery, as well as to prepare for testimony at depositions and trials
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss case status and help answer questions
- Coordinate witness travel for testimony at depositions and trial
- Daily review of trial team operations to ensure trial readiness during trial period
- Work with attorneys in the identification, interviewing and preparation of witness, and collection of documents
- Conduct electronic searches and research legal matters
- Coordinate and manage large electronic discovery collections and productions
- Provide general assistance to attorneys, and prepare summaries of factual findings, legal research, and/or sequential and chronological events for attorneys
- Work with attorneys in the drafting of pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Communicate with court personnel, personnel at state and federal level, and other agencies regarding proceedings
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all aspects of the department's work and its context in the organization as a whole, and maintains an awareness of, and stays up to date with changes in law and procedures, specifically relating to the litigation practice area
- Proficiency in Law and Legal Document Preparation
- Strong Communication and Research skills
- Experience in Document Review
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or related field is preferred
- Relevant certification (e.g., NALA or NFPA) is a plus
- Trial Experience
- Med Mal and Product Liability experience preferred
