What the role is :
The Home Team Science & Technology Agency (HTX) is the first of its kind Science and Technology (S&T) Agency in the world that brings together science and engineering capabilities across the Home Team Departments (HTDs) to transform the homeland security landscape and keep Singapore safe. The job holder will be working on Automation Solutions, playing a key role in the development and implementation of transformation initiatives based on Operational Technology (OT) automation solutions to support the Central Narcotics Bureau and Singapore Prison Service as well as other HTDs. Candidates with suitable middle management experience may be considered for the Head role to lead a team of engineers / scientists and be responsible for the coherent and timely delivery of the S&T projects under his / her charge as well as the systems’ capability sustenance.
What you will be working on :
The jobholder will be :
- Collaborating with diverse stakeholders including internal HTX stakeholders, HTDs and other external stakeholders across areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, forensics, Information-Communication Technologies (ICT), cybersecurity, etc.
- Developing and integrating suitable S&T solutions for projects to implement capabilities for the HTDs.
- Leading project management and execution for timely capability implementation as well as managing the system’s capability sustenance.
